Inter-, in its incompleteness, embraces the unfinished and open-ended nature of the career journey of this year’s graduating students, and celebrates the potential for exploration, collaboration, and growth. It is defined as meaning ‘among’, ‘between’ or ‘in the midst’, acknowledging the point in our timelines where by the beginning has commenced, but the ending (and its various possibilities) hasn't yet been determined.

It recognises that graduation is not an endpoint but a stepping-stone, portraying an honest and transparent glimpse into both the sum and the parts; by encouraging reflection on individual goals, aspirations, achievements and trajectories, it invites you to consider what you might perceive to be the most suitable ending to this year’s theme, and whether there might be one, or an endless number of possible solutions to describe this point in your own journey.

This online exhibition hosts work from 2023 graduating students in the Bachelor of Architectural Studies, Bachelor of Interior Architecture, Master of Design (Interior Architecture), and Master of Architecture programs at the University of South Australia.
